October is here, and I’m excited to share this month’s N6 Drop with you! If you’re new here, the N6 Drop is something my Nordstrom styling friends and I put together each month—a mini capsule of six handpicked items we think are perfect additions to your fall wardrobe.

1. Barbour Jacket
This month’s cool, standout piece is the classic Beadnell Barbour barn jacket. The jacket is quilted with a light fleece lining, signature Barbour plaid cuffs, and a chic corduroy collar. For reference- I usually wear size 0/2, but I went up to a size 4 in this style for a perfect fit. I’m a big fan of this jacket and highly recommend adding it to your fall wardrobe, which you’ll wear for years. It’s not just practical—it’s fashionable too! 2. Frame Straight Jeans
Another favorite item of the Drop is the Frame LE High Straight Leg Long Jeans. Classic straight jeans are timeless, chic, and trending. I also like this lightly off-black color; it’s fresh for the season and looks great with burgundy, grey, camel, pink, red, and green. These jeans are stretchy and high-waisted with a 10 1/2 inch rise, 30.5 inseams, and 14″ leg opening, which will fit over a boot. They are a little long for a petite person, like myself, but that’s ok. I have to hem all my jeans. ha! I’m 5’2″ and will shorten them(right below the ankle for a long leg look). You might also like this long Lily bootcut too. It has a 32″ inseam and a 16.5 inch leg opening, perfect for wearing with boots. 3. Caslon Short Sleeve Wool and Cashmere Top
It’s fall, and including cashmere was a must for the drop. I LOVE this wool and cashmere short-sleeve top and can’t say enough about it. I know you will like it, too, and you might want several colors! It’s soft, cozy, chic, an easy sweater, and $79.50! It fits true to size. You might like this long-sleeve, too.

4. Coach Handbag
The handbag for the October Drop is the Coach Tabby in Burgundy! Burgundy is one of the hottest colors for fall, and adding a handbag in this rich shade will add interest and elevate any outfit. Coach is having a fashion moment and is making beautiful bags at affordable prices. I think the Tabby bag is so pretty!

5. Reiss Croc Slingback
Slingbacks are trending, and they are a favorite style of mine and a pretty style for your fall wardrobe. The drop shoe is a Croc slingback by Reiss. It’s chic and versatile—and you can wear it day to evening. The Croc detail is gorgeous, and the color looks so pretty with the Frame jeans. I’d also style this shoe with brown, black trousers and with straight jeans, too, like the Paige Cindy. If you prefer wearing heels, you might try the slingbacks from Tuckernuck. I have them, and they’re cute and comfortable.

6. Jenny Bird Neckace
Lastly, if you wear a lot of basics and solid colors, accessorizing is a great way to add interest and change up your outfits. And, yes, you can mix metals! We picked this versatile two-tone Sofia necklace by Jenny Bird as the final piece of the drop. I love this necklace as a statement piece, but you can wear it as two bracelets, too! I love double-duty items, plus it’s available in all gold. It’s a stylish and practical piece to take when you travel, too. As always, I’ve included additional options to add to your wardrobe.

As a side note, a friend gave me this Necessaire Body Serum, and I have to say I love it and am hooked. It hydrates and feels refreshing, especially now that we’re entering fall. I highly recommend it!
