The January N6 Drop is here! If you’re new here, my Nordstrom styling friends and I handpick six versatile pieces each month, which we call the Drop. These items can be styled as a complete outfit or easily mixed with other items in your closet. This month, we focused on fresh colors and casual basics. It’s a chic and classic collection, and I hope you like it as much as I do! If you missed my IG post, you can see how I styled the Drop here and here.
1. Nordstrom Brushed Wool Bomber Jacket
This bomber jacket is versatile and easy to style! You can dress it up or down, and it’s a great option if you want something other than a blazer or leather jacket. The navy color is a nice change from black, too. It runs big, so I recommend sizing it down.
2. Treasure & Bond Chunky Mesh Cotton Blend Sweater
The Treasure & Bond sweater is perfect for wearing now and kickstarting your spring wardrobe! It’s soft, versatile, and has an open-knit detail that makes it interesting. You can wear it as is, layer it over a button-up, or belt it for a fun look. It’s an easy, comfortable, and stylish sweater.
3. Frank & Eileen Barry Button-up
Frank and Eileen’s button-ups are amazing! They’re excellent quality, easy to style, and come in many prints and colors. This Barry top is more fitted and structured than their other F & E styles and fits tts. I like it styled as is or layered under a sweater or blazer. The Eileen is another favorite Button-up style. I wear it over a long-sleeve T-shirt.
4. Frame Le Slim Palazzo Jeans with Patch Pockets
You’ve heard me talk about the Frame Le Slim Palazzo jeans before—they’re Frame’s number-one style! The new Palazzo Jean in the Drop is light wash, and has patch pockets. They have a lot of stretch and are a nice fit, so I recommend sizing down if you are between sizes. It’s a perfect style to add to your wardrobe for the winter-to-spring transition!
Also, this is a nice-looking Palazzo corduroy on sale. And you might like this petite white style or this petite style.
5. Veronica Beard Rita Pump
The Veronica Beard Rita is a beautiful shoe! Its cognac color, sleek styling, and perfect heel height make it a great choice. If you prefer sling-backs like I do, you might like these options here or here. I’ve also been leaning into flats, so if that’s your style, you might like this ballet flat, loafer, or mule. The color feels fresh and hints at what’s to come for spring.
6. Veronica Beard Dash Handbag
Veronica Beard released the Dash bag earlier this year, and I’ve loved carrying it. I bought the regular-size top-handle bag in burnished Hazelwood, and it’s been such a great go-to bag. The Hazelwood color is still available in the Mini Dash, which is perfect if you prefer a smaller bag for your phone, glasses, small wallet, and lipstick. It’s also available in the larger Dash, which is 17″ wide and roomy enough for a laptop and your essentials.
Another nice color option for the regular-size Dash is the Bark suede—the color is so luxe, and you can wear it into spring. If you like smaller bags, the leather and canvas version is adorable and perfect to carry now for vacation through the summer.
All the Dash bags have top handles, crossbody straps, and feet to protect the bottom. It’s been a great addition to my wardrobe! Which is your favorite?
What’s on Sale
There are so many great sale items happening right now! Below, I’ve rounded up some favorite pieces, including sweaters from Veronica Beard, Vince, and Cinq à Sept. I also think the Veronica Beard coat and the sunglasses are so chic. Have fun shopping!
