I’m already thinking about the holidays! We always host Thanksgiving dinner, and between family, friends, and my kids’ friends, it’s usually a full house. I love having everyone together!
Of course, I’m thinking about what to wear, too! I’m starting with skirts and pants that feel a little special for Thanksgiving but will work for other holiday plans. If you’re looking for outfit ideas, I’ve gathered my picks below. A few are already in my closet, and the others are on my list.
And since I love setting a beautiful table, I’ve included a few pretty finds for that, too, if you’re hosting!
I love a slip skirt for Thanksgiving! They’re so versatile and easy to dress up or down. I especially like wearing one with a Fair Isle cardigan. Or try this beautiful lace top—wear it open as a jacket or buttoned up. This cardigan has a similar feel at a lower price, and I like it, too!
Add a pair of boots or switch things up with mules or ballet flats or these or this style. These are pieces you’ll wear well beyond Thanksgiving!

The Reformation Olina pants keep selling out! I have them in purple and like them so much that I just bought the black pair with the contrasting hem. They’re so cute for the holidays! I’d wear them with these chic mules, but a faux-fur mule would be a fun option, too. They also come in several other colors!

The Aritzia Lodge pants are a great Thanksgiving option! They come in crepette or satin, and both feel dressy enough for the holidays but are versatile enough to wear throughout the holidays.
Sequins always feel festive—wear this top all season.
Try the faux fur with jeans, too!
A friend wore these shoes, and they looked so chic. They’re comfortable, too!

Lodge Pants | Sequin Top | Faux Fur Jacket | Slingback Heels | Handbag | Earrings
I love McGee & Co. and found a pretty tablecloth and napkins for Thanksgiving. This Amazon tablecloth is cute, too!
I like to tie my napkins with velvet ribbon—it adds such pretty texture to the table.
