My Honest Review Of Spanx Pants – I’m Glad I Tried Them!

I’m back home after dog-sitting at my daughter’s home, and I’m excited to share my recent Spanx haul!

When I think of Spanx, I immediately think of the innovative founder, Sara Blakely, and her incredible products that many of us wear as a first layer under dresses. While working at Nordstrom, I occasionally suggested Spanx pants to my customers in the dressing room, but I had never tried them on myself. 

Last fall, I received the AirEssentials Half-Zip, which I love (as does Oprah). From then on, I’ve been waiting to try out more of their products, especially their pants. So, here’s my honest review of Spanx pants. 

Finding pants that fit just right can be tricky for many of us. I’m 5’2 and usually wear a size 25/26 denim, and I’m wearing a Petite Small in the Spanx pants below. One thing that’s crucial to ordering online is taking accurate measurements. These pants have stretch, so I took my hip measurement and followed their size recommendation before I ordered. I’m glad I did; I had the right size in all but one pant and the dress. Most of the Spanx are available in regular, petite and tall sizes running XS – 3X. I was skeptical when I first tried them on; they are knit! But I was so wrong. Instead, ha, I was pleasantly surprised. The fit was perfect – the length, the high waist, and the long legs came together to give me a long-leg and stylish look. These pants are so comfortable and wrinkle-free that I recommend wearing them while traveling.  Overall, The Perfect Wide Leg Pant, is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for comfort, style, and versatility. I highly recommend giving them a try!

The Perfect Pant, Hi-Rise

I’m excited to share The Perfect Pant, Hi-Rise Flare, which are part of my recent Spanx haul. These pants are made from a pointe fabric, have a sleek, pull-on style, and are wrinkle-free. I admit I was a bit hesitant when I first tried them on. I wasn’t sure if they would work on my curvy figure. But, after giving them a second chance, I was completely sold! They are form-fitting in all the right places and feel amazing. One of the best things about these pants is how they make my legs look long. Don’t shy away from these pants, you will love the long-leg-look! Overall, The Perfect Pant, Hi-Rise Flare, is a fantastic addition to any wardrobe. Whether dressing up with a blazer for work or going casual with a t-shirt and denim jacket, these pants will make you look and feel amazing.

 I love these kick-flare pants! The flirty style is so fun and versatile. Like The Perfect Flare Pants, these kick-flares are made of a comfortable pointe knit fabric that is so comfortable to wear. And they’re versatile enough to be dressed up or down depending on your plans for the day. One thing I like about kick-flares is that they’re perfect for showing off your shoes! For a more casual look, pair them with retro sneakers or heels if you’re dressing up. I think you will like this style, especially for spring.

 Note: I’m wearing the petite style of these pants. So, if you’re looking for a longer length, order the regular pant. Plus, I want to mention that even though these pants are fitted, they still feel comfortable.

Stretch Twill Wide Leg Pant

You can never have too many styles of white pants for spring! These stretch twill, wide-leg cropped pants are trendy and comfortable, making them a great addition to your spring wardrobe. Plus, they are available in various colors, are a pull-on style, and have pockets! You can pair them with sneakers, sandals or slides. Finally, try layering a utility jacket, jean jacket, or blazer over the top to complete your look. I think you will like these!

 Overall, I like the style and fabric of these pants. They are made of a soft material that feels like twill, giving them a casual and comfortable feel. But I want to note that these were my least favorite pants out of all I tried. Ugh! I believe this may have been due to a customer order error on my part. When I ordered online, they recommended ordering a size down as the pants run big. However, I found that this was not the case for me. Therefore, if I order these pants again, I’d order a petite medium or a regular small, as I think they would fit better. Don’t get me wrong; they are cute pants, and if you decide to order them, I recommend taking your hip measurements and sticking to the guide. Also, they have back pockets that are so cute!

AirEssentials Mock Dress

This cute dress is made of the Spanx AirEssential fabric, which is so incredibly soft and comfortable that you’ll never want to take it off. Unfortunately, I bought a size small, but it turns out that an XS would have been a better fit for me. I’ll reorder it in the correct size because it’s perfect for vacation and spring. And, to top it off, this dress has pockets – who doesn’t love a dress with pockets?!
So, if you’re considering this dress, double-check the sizing before placing your order. But overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable option for spring.
