If you’re anything like me, you love previewing the Anniversary catalog, looking for the latest trends, must-have basics, and favorite items to replenish. But, it can get a little overwhelming, even for a professional shopper like myself.:) So, with an experienced eye, I’ve previewed the sale (an will continue reviewing) and created a list of favorite items, including the hot brands and things we all want.
Hot Items
So, with a big sale like this one, where there’s new sale merchandise in every department, I like to break down the information into several posts. Today, I’m focusing on hot items, those super popular pieces that fly off the shelves. Don’t worry; I will share must-have basics, more denim, coats, and more in my next blog post, “Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023: More favorite items on-sale Part 2!”
Here are 9 favorite brands we all love and my favorites from each designer. I tried on and looked at most of these items in person to share with you. These items are so popular they will sell quickly but don’t worry; they often resurface later in the sale.
1.L’agence
L’agence has beautiful pieces on sale. Below I’m wearing a vibrant color blazer. It’s a unique, refreshing color that fits well, so I had to include it! Wear it with black, white, or blue jeans or brown or tan trousers. It fits tts. I love the cut and feel of the AllSaints pants pictured too. They look dressy and feel very luxe. Note: the jeans are too long and need to be hemmed! 🙂 Don’t forget the Janelle denim jacket too. It’s a cropped version with raw edges that’s a perfect 3rd piece to wear over dresses, skirts, or with jeans.

2.Theory
Theory always has beautiful pieces on sale. I love the blue knit suit below. The blazer and pants are a great fit; plus, the camel-cropped jacket pairs well with the pants. These pieces are my favorites of mine! Theory also offers a beautiful wrap coat perfect for fall and is on my wishlist.

3.Veronica Beard
A few favorite items from Veronica Beard are these three tops, each with a different style that I think you’ll like too. I also love their trendy blazers. I picked this style because it’s faux leather and a classic neutral color and style, plus it includes a detachable dicky – it goes with everything. Also, their cardigan is fun! The Paige Anessa jean style is trending for fall and is so comfortable.

4.Cinq A Sept
The Cinq A Sept pieces look amazing, and the colors are refreshing to wear now and later into fall. I’ll be adding some of these items to my wishlist.

Both blazers from Frame are so nice, and the color options are refreshing. I know you will like the “pop color” Gillian blouse too.

6.Boss
Boss is looking good! The green blazer is so sharp, fits well, and is versatile. You can easily pair either blazer with matching trousers for a coordinated look or mix them up and wear them with blue or white jeans. Also, the sleeveless top by Paige is comfortable and a great wardrobe staple. Lastly, the style of the coat is so chic and fits well (tts).

7.Reiss
You’ll like the Reiss blouses, especially the pretty silk tie bow that will transition from day to evening. Just pair it with high-waisted pants or a skirt; the shirt hem goes high on the sides. Also, I love the gorgeous royal blue blouse to wear now and into fall. The black sweater with camel stripe sweater is a nice classic, and the long coats are lovely and timeless. Check out the chic sling-back heels, too; they come in two colors that will elevate your outfit. So good!

8.Vince
