I’m in Palm Desert, enjoying a short get away from Seattle’s rainy winter. This trip came together at the last minute, so I had little time to shop for warm-weather outfits. But I have an easy, go-to outfit combo that I brought along and always works. It’s a simple outfit combination I can wear now, on vacation, and this spring.
Outfit 1
This is a versatile outfit combination I always count on. I match my top and bottom, creating a column of color. Then, add a versatile top that I can wear alone or layered over a tank or t-shirt.
Below, I’m wearing the Vintage Ecru wide-leg jeans by Rails for all three outfits. They have a high-waisted button fly with an 11-inch rise and 31-inch inseam. If you are between sizes, size down. I like the fit and style, and they are jeans to wear now and into the spring. I adore the short-sleeved Holly jacket by Cinq à Sept. It’s so pretty and versatile. You can pair it with jeans for a casual look, or layer it over a slip dress. I like the coral pink color, which looks like Peach Fuzz, Pantone’s color for 2024. But there are also a few other color options available here.
