Fall has officially arrived in Seattle, with cooler and darker mornings and a little rain — the kind that we need this time of year. It’s the perfect time to reach for your favorite sweaters, jackets, and easy everyday pieces that feel comfy yet chic. So today, I’m sharing a recap of fall favorites from the October N6 Drop, plus some Quince basics and favorite fall skincare.
The October N6 Drop
My Nordstrom styling friends and I share a new N6 Drop at the start of each month. This month, the Drop features six items, including trending colors like burgundy and brown, along with rich textures that give your wardrobe a fresh feel for the season.

The Sam Edelman coat is a classic plaid style available in three colors. It feels very stylish and fits true to size (currently on sale).
I love a two-piece dress set for its versatility. This month’s version, a Halogen mixed-media dress, includes a slip dress you can wear with the coordinating sweater or style on its own with a blazer or this one here, or a cashmere shawl. And is currently on sale.
Wear the Schutz embossed tall boot with the Halogen dress. If you prefer a lower heel, try the suede boot from Dolce Vita. It’s comfortable but runs small—so I recommend sizing up a half size.
It’s always great to have a pair of jeans that’s a best seller and fits everyone. The Mother Hustler Roller Sneak (currently on sale) comes in regular sizes with a 32″ inseam, and the Lil Hustler Roller Skimp, which is perfect for petites.
I’m 5’2″ and have tried both styles — the Lil Roller is an ideal fit for petites, with a shorter rise and inseam that make the knee placement hit just right.
A beautiful silk blouse by L’AGENCE in one of the season’s prettiest colors — it’s a classic style you’ll wear often and fits true to size. And how pretty is the Jeffrey Campbell handbag? I can see wearing it in the evening for dinner.
Quince Favorites
Quince is known for its affordable cashmere, and I have a few favorites I reach for again and again. The Structured Cashmere Cardigan is at the top of my list — I even have it in three colors! I know that sounds like a lot, but the price is great and fills a need in my wardrobe. Some days, I even wear it as a “coat.”

I recently picked up the Oversized Cashmere Crewneck, and I love the relaxed fit (I’m wearing an XS). It has that effortless, cool-girl look and comes in so many beautiful colors.

I can’t get over the quality of the $50 Cashmere Crewneck — it’s incredibly soft and feels fantastic. I usually wear it with a white tee underneath for a bit of contrast.
Lastly, I have to mention these earrings because I wear them all the time. 🙂 The croissant shape adds just the right amount of interest, and they’re the perfect size to wear every day.
Fall Hydrating Skincare
I just refreshed my skincare for fall, and my skin feels smooth and hydrated. I needed a new serum, and my beauty friend at Nordstrom recommended the Sulwhasoo First Care Serum—I love the light texture and spa-like scent.
My longtime favorite is Kiehl’s—their Creme de Corps and Ultra Facial Cream keep my skin soft and moisturized.
For extra hydration, I reach for the La Mer Soft Cream, and the Bobbi Brown Enriched Eye Base is perfect for smoothing and prepping under the eyes.
