It’s the new year, and I don’t know about you, but I often need some time to ease into that first week! I also get excited about the beginning of each month when I highlight 6 items my styling friends and I pick that are new, fresh for the season, and will easily incorporated into your wardrobe. Take a look!
January N6 Drop
The January Drop features pieces that are fresh classic silhouettes with trendy, modern twists. Think striped button-ups, chic woven handbags, and fresh green to liven up your wardrobe. Here is the January N6 Drop.
1. Rains – Curve Waterproof Belted Jacket
My daughter has a raincoat from this brand that I always thought was so cute, so I was so excited when I tried this new style. I love the color, style, and fit. I’m 5’2 and wear an XS in coats and a size 0 in blazers. In this style an XS fits perfectly on the shoulders, sleeves, and body. Plus, you can wear it with or without the belt. It’s waterproof and a stylish jacket for rainy weather or as a lighter-weight trench for warmer climates. Plus, it’s available in 4 neutral colors.

2. Sam Edelman – Bianca Slingback Pump
This chic slingback is a favorite heel of mine. I recently wore them to an event and then went shopping, and they were comfortable enough to wear all day long. Also, slingback heels are trending, and it’s easy to see why: they look great with trousers, dresses, or skirts and elevate denim outfits. Plus, there are so many color as available; here are some neutrals you can wear year-round.

3. Rails Spencer Stripe Silk Shirt
Next, I’m highlighting stripes, which are trending, and a silky blouse, which is always a perfect item for your wardrobe. So, this button-up combines both, making it a trendy choice. I’ve heard from some of you that you’re hesitant about wearing stripes, but these vertical stripes are flattering and easy for everyone to wear.

4. AllSaints Amore Cardigan & Crewneck Sweater
The fourth item in the drop is by AllSaints. AllSaints is an ageless, go-to brand for adding cool, edgy items to your wardrobe. The Amore cardigan was a big hit and is out of stock at Nordstrom, but it’s available at Harrods! I’ve also included the crewneck Amora sweater, which is available at Nordstrom. It’s fresh for all ages and perfect to wear now and into the upcoming months. I haven’t tried these sweaters yet, but I look forward to the crewneck.

5. Naghedi Bags
Naghedi St Barths Tote | Similar Blazer | ATM T-shirt | New Balance Sneakers | Away Suitcase | Similar Sunnies
I’m a true fan of the Naghedi bags. They’re not just stylish and trendy; but water-resistant and practical for all kinds of weather and easy to care for. Plus, there are many gorgeous color options. I treated myself to the St. Barths medium tote last spring and have loved using it. A handy matching zipper pouch is inside each bag to hold your keys, lipstick, and wallet. Also, the Naghedi tote is an excellent travel bag. The shoulder strap stretches and fits over your shoulder—and the mini is a nice choice for an everyday crossbody.

6. Paige Cindy High Waist Ankle Straight Leg Jeans
Many of you know I’m a fan of the Paige Cindy jeans. In my Nordstrom stylist days, this was one of my go-to recommendations for customers looking for jeans. It’s a reliable fit for most, fitting 9 out of 10 women. I’ve found they run true to size. Here’s a quick styling tip: when trying them on, aim for a snug fit since they tend to stretch with wear. The Cindy jeans (left photo) have an 11-inch rise and a finished hem. Though they’re pictured as cropped on the website, they have a 28½-inch inseam. At 5’2″, I roll mine up 4 inches for the perfect length. You can roll them or tailor them to hit just at the ankle bone. If you’re unsure about the hem length, feel free to reach out – I’m here to help! I’ve added some other favorite Paige jeans too.

Paige Cindy don’t work for me but I like the Paige Claudine you’re wearing in the post picture above – do they stretch out with wear?
Hi KB,
I think most Paige jeans have extra stretch. The Claudine stretches but I feel I can wear them several times between washes without bagging out. You probably already do this but, make sure your jeans are snug when you buy them, then you will have a little wiggle room for them to stretch. Thanks. Sandy
