IG Live and Outfit Inspo from a Former Nordstrom stylist

When I was a stylist at Nordstrom in Seattle, my favorite part of the job was helping customers in the dressing room. During the pandemic, when in-store shopping stopped, I brought the clothes to my customers online—and that’s when I started going live to share what was new and styling tips. Even after I retired from Nordstrom, I’ve kept it going. It’s become a fun way to stay connected and share what I love—from Nordstrom and other retailers.

Leopard Print Dress – Style Inspo

This leopard print dress from J.Crew is so cute and easy to dress up or down. It runs big, so I recommend sizing down. I styled it with a Quince denim jacket, a Brixton hat, and Celine sunglasses (or a look for less). This trending sandal by Open Edit is available in many colors. Or you might like a similar style by Toteme. Plus, don’t forget sunscreen—Supergoop is my daily go-to year-round!

Column Knit Dress + Adelaide Jacket – Style Inspo

This dress has been a bestseller—it’s one of those pieces you can easily dress up or down. Plus it fits true-to-size. Also—Coach is making a comeback, and this east-west bag is a cute, on-trend option. Plus, the Schutz shoes are the shoes that go with everything.

Cropped Trench + Denim – Style Inspo

Lately, a cropped trench coat has been my go-to jacket. It’s a great style to wear with jeans or trousers. The split-front top is a Frame classic and one I reach for in the spring and summer. It’s easy to style and looks polished. Frame’s number one selling jeans is the Le Slim Palazzo. I especially love this light wash for spring (I included petite sizes too). If you like wearing a kitten heel, the Larroude slide below is a great option. And, of course, accessories finish the look! I’ve been loving J.Crew’s jewelry lately, and they’re having a sale right now.

White Wide-Leg Denim + Print Top – Style Inspo

Below are a few of the items from the April N6 Drop. The white wide-leg jeans are one of my favorite styles. I’ve included a full-length version plus petite sizes. The Ulla Johnson top is a pretty print and is available in three colors. I’m also loving the open-knit cardigan. It’s an easy layer to wear over a tee, a dress, or draped over your shoulders. I like Monica Vinader jewelry and added a couple of pieces for inspiration. And the tote by Sézane? It’s on my list—I’m excited to try it!

Leopard Field Jacket + Wide Leg Jeans

Two trends—leopard print and the field jacket—come together in one great piece that sets the tone for this outfit. It’s cute, practical, and a style you can wear many seasons. It does run big, so I recommend sizing down. The Frame Le Slim Palazzo is Frame’s number-one-selling denim, and it’s easy to see why. It fits well, and the light wash is perfect for spring. I’ve also been wearing this cashmere sweater—a classic style and a good basic to have in your wardrobe. A few accessories finish the look—like these Fendi sunglasses and a look for less!
