Jeans are a staple for many of us—they’re the starting point for most outfits, a key part of my daily uniform, and maybe yours too. I’m always trying on different jeans, and below, I’m wearing three styles: wide-leg, flare, and bootcut jeans. I’ve shared these styles before, and they’re worth reviewing again. For reference, I’m 5’2 “, petite, and curvy. Take a look—I’m sure you’ll find a few favorites!

1. Wide-Leg

The Frame Le Slim Palazzo and Paige Anessa are my favorite wide-leg jeans, and the Frame Le Slim Palazzo is Frame’s number-one-selling jeans! They are available in several washes; below, I’m wearing a medium wash called Lupin.  Try Fife for a dressy dark wash, and for a lighter option, try Wilson Clean. For a petite fit, try the Le Slim Palazzo in the Mermaid wash. The Le Slim Palazzo fits true to size, has an 11 3/4 inch rise, and most have a 30″ inseam. They are fitted through the hips, gradually flaring into a wide leg. Plus, they are made from soft fabric with stretch. I love how they feel; they look great, and I wear them often!

Another wide-leg jean I have always liked is the Paige Anessa. It runs true to size, and most styles have an 11 1/2″ – 12″ rise. Petite, full-length, and cropped styles are also available, and some have raw and finished hems.

Below, I’m wearing the Anessa in Tonal Ecru. I love this style and color—it’s versatile, trending, and a little unexpected for this time of year. I’m also wearing the Black Viper Distressed, which is more fitted than the Tonal Ecru. I recommend wearing a heel or boots with these wide-leg jeans to lengthen the leg line, but flats are okay, too.

2. Flare Jeans

Flare-leg jeans, like the Mother Weekender, are another highly rated and casual style. Below, I’m wearing a petite style, Lil’ Weekender Flare, which fits true to size, has stretch, and is so comfortable. The rise is 9 1/2″, but it still gives the feeling of high-rise jeans. The “regular” Weekender in color, Teaming Up, has a slightly higher rise at 10″. I like these jeans for casual days and to wear them with boots or sneakers.  But you can also wear heels or flats.  You might also like the Frame Le easy Flare if you like wearing Frame jeans.

3. Bootcut

It’s been a while since I’ve worn  Mother Hustler jeans, and since they’re such a popular style, I wanted to try them on. It’s easy to see why they’re so popular—they’re great everyday jeans you can wear with sneakers, flats, boots, or heels. They have a high waist with an 11 1/2″ rise, fit true to size, and are made of soft fabric with stretch. They’re fitted through the hips and thighs, with a slight flare from the knee to the ankle.

The Pistola Lennon High-Waisted Jeans are a sporty bootcut in an ecru color. They’re cute, stretchy, and a great fit for most. I wear a size 25/26 in jeans and a size 26 in this photo. If you like a roomier fit in light-colored jeans, size up. The raw hemline makes it easy to shorten to the ankle. Plus, any shoe works with this style of jeans.
