Early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost here. I always get excited about this sale; It’s a great time to pick up new basics for you and your family. In the last few weeks, I had the opportunity to preview the sale and try on merchandise for fit, plus I made a list of my favorite items from seven categories. Take a look and happy shopping!

How Do I Shop The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with StylishSandy?

I’ve had some questions about how to shop with me, and I’m happy to help! Start by making a wish list of items you’d like to purchase. On the day you are eligible to shop the sale, depending on your Nordy Club level, tap on an item on my blog or in my LTK shop. That will take you to Nordstrom through my shopping links. My Wishlist!

I always like to share my Anniversary Sale wishlist. Most of the items work together, so I made a capsule-style wardrobe that you can mix and match to create various outfits. I included some trending colors for fall, like chic red and silver, classic camels, black, and my favorite, denim. I’ve tried on all of the shoes and jeans, and they run true to size and are comfortable. Both blazers fit true to size, too. Plus, I tried the red coat; it is roomy and stylish for the season.

1. Favorite Brands

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the perfect time to get your favorite higher-end items at lower prices! These items are always in high demand, so order them on your first eligible shopping day. I was impressed with all the designer pieces this year—choosing just a few favorites was tough. Cinq a Sept,  Veronica Beard, Theory, and Vince have great items to share with you.

If you want a chic jacket that pairs perfectly with jeans, over a dress, or trousers, try the cinq a Sept Khloe Blazer. I also like the Mother Hustler jeans I’m wearing—they’re one of my favorite ones on the sale. Plus, the stylish, waterproof Blondo boots are both comfortable and modern.

I love Vince cardigans and sweaters and I always look for them during the Anniversary Sale. Below are some favorites plus an easy-to-wear-dress that’s perfect for summer.

Rails and AllSaints

Look  to Rails for cute tops you can wear day to evening. Also, if you don’t have a leather jacket, consider trying one by AllSaints. They have classic styles you will wear for years—size up in the Dalby leather jacket.

2. Denim

Jeans are always a hot item to stock up on during the Anniversary, so I’ve included many styles, from wide-leg to straight-leg. I tried them on, and my favorites are pictured below. I also like the AG ex-boyfriend jeans. It’s a slim, straight fit, and the Frame Le Crop Mini Boot is another style I like and fits well.

Sweaters are another item customers love to stock up on during the anniversary sale, with Nordstrom cashmere always being a favorite. There’s a sweater for everyone, including one by Farm Rio!

4. Boots and Shoes

There are many stylish boots and shoes on sale. Ballet flats, Mary Janes, slingbacks, and sneakers continue to trend, and the trending seasonal colors are red and silver. So, whether you’re updating your wardrobe or looking for something new, there’s a style for everyone!

5. Jewelry and Accessories

I always recommend looking and shopping for fine jewelry during the Anniversary sale. It’s a perfect opportunity to add a new piece to your forever jewelry collection. Some of my stacking rings and Michele watch are from the Anniversary Sale, and I continue to wear them. Plus, there’s always beautiful everyday jewelry, offering something special for everyone.

6. Active

Active looks good this year! I love all the Zella pants, dresses, vests, and cozy tops. Plus, the Spanx Booty Boost pants feel amazing. Give them a try, I think you will like them.

7. Lingerie

We all have favorite bras we like. If you don’t have one yet, I highly recommend the Wacoal Red Carpet strapless bra and other styles by Wacoal and Natori.  Hanky Panky thongs are always an Anniversary Sale favorite, plus I recommend the Chantelle panties. They come in one size fits all, with many styles and colors available. I stock up on these every year!

8. Beauty and Candles

I love the beauty kits you can get during the Anniversary Sale. I’m stocking up on Oribe hair products and my favorite candles. I always like to try a new fragrance set, too. Plus, my customers also rave about the Donna Karan deodorant! What’s your favorite beauty item from the sale?
