It’s been a busy month with many exciting adventures—attending a denim focus group, shopping in NYC, and gearing up for early Black Friday sales—and it’s all happened before Thanksgiving!
I flew to NYC with some Nordstrom Styling friends a week ago for a denim focus group with Mavi Jeans. You might have heard of them—my husband is a big fan of the Mavi Matt jeans! A former Nordstrom buyer and friend who now works for Mavi invited us. As denim experts, they wanted our opinions on their styles. And it was such a fun and eye-opening experience to learn more about the brand. I brought two pairs home: the Savannah, which is wide-leg, cuffed, and roomy true to size, and the Sydney, which is a flare style and fits true to size. If you want to try a moderate-priced denim, give them a try.

We went to Campagnola’s for dinner, and it never disappoints! Good food and great company—it doesn’t get better than that!

After our meeting with Mavi, a few of us stayed longer and checked into the Baccarat Hotel—and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is elegant, with beautiful rooms, and the best part is the delicate Baccarat fragrance floating in the air. Every detail, from the glassware to the table settings, was pure perfection. It was a unique and memorable experience—a trip’s highlight!

A Day of Shopping in NYC
My friends and I had a fantastic day of shopping and exploring NYC! We started at Macy’s to see the decorated Christmas trees in the holiday market, then went to Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom NYC, and other luxury retailers to get style inspiration. It was a day packed with fashion, fun, and delicious meals.
Our last stop before the airport was the Thelios showroom, part of the LVMH eyewear group. They make luxury sunglasses for brands like Celine, Dior, Givenchy, and Fendi, and seeing the craftsmanship and beautiful eyewear all in one place was a treat! Sunglasses are a perfect gateway into the designer world. They elevate your style instantly and are the first thing people notice.
Celine is the hottest sunglasses brand, and the Triomphe Celine sunglasses are its number-one sunglasses. Pictured above, I’m wearing a new Celine Bold Three Dot style for fall/winter, which you will see me wearing often. They’re chic, timeless, and my new favorite accessory! Other styles that caught my eye are this one here (on my wishlist) and this one by Givenchy.
Black Friday Sales Going On Now!
Although Black Friday officially starts on November 29th, the sales have already begun! This is a great time to get extra savings on items for your wardrobe, home, and holiday gifts. Below are Black Friday sales from some of my favorite retailers.
Nordstrom’s Black Friday Sale is on! Vince is a favorite brand, especially when it’s on sale. One of my favorite Vince sweaters is the Cashmere Funnel neck pullover sweater. It has a flattering neckline, is available in many colors, and makes a nice gift for all ages. Another favorite is the classic cashmere crewneck and these flare pants. I have this coat, and it’s now 33% off. Plus, Fleurette also makes beautiful coats, and most of them are on sale. Everyone loves Uggs; here is one style on sale and favorite Fendi and Gucci Sunnies, too. There’s a gift for everyone.
J.Crew is having a 50% off Black Friday sale starting today. Here are some favorite items from J.Crew. They have classic clothing and gifts like cashmere sweaters, cozy coats, beautiful scarves, chic boots, and fun accessories. These pieces are great basics for your wardrobe or for giving as thoughtful gifts this holiday season.
