Spring Style Live: Dresses, Beauty & Outfit Ideas!

Every Thursday, I go live on Instagram from my styling office in Seattle to share what’s new, my favorites on my styling rack, and styling tips. If you missed the last Live, you can watch it here! This week, I shared a spring dress edit, some go-to tops styled with jeans, and a few beauty favorites from Nordstrom—currently 15% off!

Live Recap

The dress below is a total showstopper and so much fun to wear! I can see wearing it to a special occasion or a wedding. One follower shared that she wore it to a wedding and felt fabulous! If you love the look but want a solid color, you might like this one, this one, or a shorter version that’s just as stunning.

Black Theory Dress – Everyone needs an updated little black dress, and this one is a favorite. It’s a wrap style you can wear casually or dress up for a night out. The blue-striped dress is cute—lightweight, soft, and comfortable. The elastic waistline is flattering, plus it has pockets. I love the Feather dress! The Scarlet Sonata Dress — perfect for a party, Easter, or a spring brunch. Pomander Place Tiered Dress is so cute! Wear it with or without a belt, available in many colors and prints.

I love this sweet linen sundress from Quince. It’s perfect for warmer weather and vacations. Tie a Quince cashmere cardigan—one of my go-to staples—over your shoulders. Wear the Poppy Print dress to your next special occasion. It’s so pretty and flattering. If you’re between sizes, size up. I’m wearing it with a very comfortable gold Sam Edelman heel. Lastly, this Nordstrom tank dress is a flattering style—a favorite among many in the StylishSandy community.

The eyelet and denim button-up are great pieces to wear alone or layering over a tank, t-shirt, or dress. You can try wearing the striped T-shirt under the denim button-up.

The Frame V-neck T-shirt is a favorite of mine—and it’s currently on sale! I also can’t get enough of the cashmere cardigans from Quince—they’re soft, lightweight, and perfect for layering. I love the combination of the striped skirt, V-neck tee, and a yellow cardigan tied around the shoulders, finished off with a pair of espadrilles. It’s an easy, polished look for spring!

The floral top is lightweight, currently on sale, and available in several colors. The navy top is perfect for a night out with friends. Wear it with the Frame Le Slim Palazzo jeans (you can see me wearing them here!) or the white Kut from Kloth jeans. A fit tip: The white jeans stretch and run a little big, so I recommend sizing them down! You might also like these favorites on sale: ecru denim here or here.

Plus, the striped skirt is adorable! It has two side slits, is lined, and has pockets which I know we all love! Wear with espadrilles or flats for an easy spring look.

Here are some of the beauty products I currently use and recommend.

I’m obsessed with the clean products from Westman Atelier. I have sensitive eyes, and their mascara doesn’t irritate them. It doesn’t smudge, and my lashes look long! I even use their blush on my lips. If you haven’t tried the Elemis cleanser, I recommend it—the scent alone is like a spa experience. The Bobbi Brown eye shadow is my current go-to neutral palette (I’m wearing the rosey nudes).

When it comes to hair, I’m pretty picky—and I’ve been loving the Davines hair oil and spray. After washing, I apply a couple of drops of the oil to my hair, working it through while it’s still damp. I also use the firm hairspray, but since Nordstrom has the “no gas” version on sale, I think it’s worth trying. Whenever Oribe goes on sale, I try to restock—it’s such a luxe product, and it makes my hair feel so soft.
