Barn Jacket

I wrote about this trend a couple of weeks ago, and I’m now leaning into the Barn Jacket—it’s one of this season’s “it“ jackets! It’s the perfect blend of practicality and style, and honestly, you can throw it on with almost anything.

Pair it with jeans for errands or a day at the pumpkin patch. Or, take a cue from J.Crew street style and wear it with skirts, trousers, and boots for that casual chic feeling. It’s one of those jackets you can always count on, whether out and about or heading to work. I’m wearing one this fall—how about you?

Everlane

I have this jacket, and it’s a nice casual jacket for coffee with friends and running errands. I’ll also wear it to the pumpkin patch with my granddaughter.:) If you want to splurge on cool, great-fitting jeans, try these by Khaite. I love the fit, wash, and style. You might like these moderately priced straight jeans here and here, too.

Everlane – Denim Jacket

A denim jacket is stylish and can be worn with almost anything! I like this barn jacket with brown details and styled with dark jeans. For fall, try this popular style handbag.

Barbour

Barbour is known for quality jackets and has been around for years. As a former Nordstrom stylist, I sold many Barbour jackets to my customers. This burgundy is a favorite color of mine and the color of the season.

J. Crew – Long Jacket

J.Crew’s barn jackets are so cute. Note – The style below runs long and may overwhelm a petite person. I’m 5’2″, and it was very long on me. Ha! They do carry a petite version. I have yet to try it, but if you like the style and are on the petite side, try it! The shorter style jacket runs tts, and I wear my regular size.
