It’s one of the most anticipated sales of the year—Nordstrom partners with favorite brands to bring new merchandise at great savings to customers. Traditionally, it’s a sale to stock up on fall staples and back-to-school clothes, but now you can also get, buy now-wear-now items.

As a former stylist at Nordstrom in Seattle and now a full-time blogger and content creator, I’ve worked 15 Anniversary Sales! I always tell my customers that the Nsale is a fantastic time to stock up on basics from cosmetics to shoes, try new brands on sale, and even start holiday shopping.
Here are 7 insider tips to help you complete online shopping with a full cart and a big smile!
7 Insider Tips For A Successful Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
1. Make sure you know what day you’re eligible to shop, which depends on your Nordy Club level. Shop online starting at 12:01 am ET on the first day you’re eligible. If you want to become a Nordy Club member and shop early access during the sale, you can apply for a Nordstrom card here.Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping is open to everyone on July 15th.

2. Preview the online catalog, available now on Nordstrom.
3. Follow me on the #LTK app @stylishsandy for all my shoppable content, including everything from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Also, I’m curating and linking my favorite items and collections now and will post them on my LTK shop and the blog. I’m excited to share them with you!
4. Shop your must-have items first. If you’re unsure about the fit, consider ordering two sizes, but be sure to return the ones that don’t fit ASAP so they’re available for other customers. If the item you want sells out, don’t worry—merchandise is returned daily and often available again. Keep checking!!
5. Expedite the shipping on your order. With many customers shopping for the same items, expediting your shipping can help ensure your order gets high priority. Plus, some of my customers have had success buying online and picking up in-store for prompt order fulfillment.
6. Make it a Personal Points Day to receive extra rewards on all of your purchases.
7. Shop often. With a Nordstrom Anniversary sale like this, having a round 2 or 3 of shopping helps ensure you get everything you want. Plus, explore items you might not usually shop for. I encourage you to check out fine jewelry on sale—I bought my Michele watch during the Anniversary Sale years ago, and I’m still wearing it today. Plus, jewelry makes a great holiday gift. White dresses are everywhere, and denim is always trending; we showcased wide-leg jeans and petite options like Lil’ Mother.
