Travel outfit with Beis luggage.

Many of us are traveling these days, and I’ve been getting requests for comfortable outfits perfect for any flight length. So, I’m excited to share this post with you! My Nordstrom styling friends and I put together the June N6 Drop—our travel outfit edition. What’s the N6 Drop? Every month, my Nordstrom friends and I select six favorite items to create a ‘mini capsule’ ideal for the month. These pieces will easily work into your wardrobe.

Six categories make up the drop: comfy pants, a shirt, a jacket, sneakers, a scarf, and luggage, including a weekender bag and a suitcase. I will highlight each category and share some alternative pieces, too!

The June N6 Drop

The June N6 Drop. Siz pieces that create a travel outfit.

1. Travel Pants

When flying, I find wearing comfortable pants is a must. The Zella jogger from the latest drop is perfect for a travel outfit. It’s dressy with a center seam and made from lightweight fabric. I usually wear an XS/S, and I picked a size small in these for a roomier fit. They’re so comfy that I’m planning to get another color! Perfect for wearing on the plane and just as stylish once you land, whether you pair them with sandals or heels. Another option is the Vuori Performance Jogger, a favorite of mine, and it’s available in long lengths and cargo style. Also, you might like the soft luxe pants by Varley. They look so chic and have a matching jacket.

2. Top

The sleeveless stripe tank is an easy bra-friendly summer top you can wear as part of your travel outfit, during your vacation, and at home. If you prefer a top with sleeves, try this Frame top here or here. If you are like me and get cold on planes, consider wearing the Frank & Eileen Patrick Popover Henley or layering a sweater over your tank. I also like this cute striped muscle shirt  from J.Crew. A little styling tip: drape a cashmere sweater around your shoulders or tie around your neck like a scarf if you need extra warmth. It’s both stylish and practical!

3. Jacket

The Drop Jacket from Kut From The Kloth is a lightweight denim trucker style. I love the light wash color for this time of year. Other favorite styles include jackets by L’Agence and Frame, and a new one I haven’t tried but is a modern style is by Agolde. Below, I’ve also listed a few lightweight, non-denim jackets that would be great to wear as part of a travel outfit.

4. Sneakers

Sneakers are one of my favorite shoes, so I’m thrilled they are trending. The Nike Killshot 2 is the Drop Shoe of the month. I like the white, tone-on-tone option with the gum sole—it’s a vintage style with modern appeal. They are easy to wear with travel pants, jeans, skirts, or dresses. Below, I’ve highlighted some other favorite sneakers, including retro, designer, and walking styles that are perfect for daily wear.

5. Scarf

I always pack a scarf (or two) when traveling. They are perfect for keeping your neck warm on the plane plus they take up little space and can add to your outfit. The Rag & Bone Pea Chain Scarf is the Drop Accessory of the month. Available in three colors, it adds color and pattern to complete the travel outfit. I also love this silk and cashmere scarf from Nordstrom. It’s a staple of mine on every trip, and perfect for using on the plane and as a pashmina on warm nights.

6. Weekender Bag and Suitcase

The popular Beis Weekend bag and suitcase are the final items in the drop. The Weekender, available in various sizes, is perfect to pack for a road trip or a flight. The Bei’s suitcase is lightweight and available in a pretty color that’s easy to spot on the baggage carousel. This completes your casual chic travel outfit. I’ve also included a new striped mini weekend bag in three colors. I love the black and white stripe paired with the black Beis 21” bag—so cute!

7. Other Packables

Lastly, here are some items I use when I travel and I’m getting  for an upcoming trip to San Diego. Plus, Because it’s summer, I’ve included a summer read from the bestseller list—always fun to enjoy on the plane.
