Animal Prints – How To Wear Them!

When I think of animal print, I think of a chic neutral-colored cheetah print. When Animal prints came onto the fashion scene as a trend, it added a little something extra to an outfit. Animal prints are still an excellent addition to any look, but today they are viewed as classic and neutral.

If you are new to wearing animal prints, start slow by adding a printed shoe or belt to an all-black outfit. It will be clear how much interest the print adds to your look. If you routinely wear animal print, try mixing in various colors, such as red or bright pink to your look. Mixing floral prints with animal prints can be for the more adventurous (a future blog post). Sprinkle in a little animal print here and there for fun… after all – a little animal print goes a long way.

This past week, I was honored to be featured in Who What Wear‘s International publication. If you missed the article, you can read it here. I listed trends for 2022, and Animal Prints are included on that list. I mentioned, “Animal prints have always been on-trend, but it’s all about the zebra and tiger prints this season. Look for abstract patterns and colorful versions of the wild kingdom, from clothing to accessories.”

Don’t throw away your cheetah print yet, but be on the look out for other animal prints and color combinations moving forward in 2022.
