It’s hard to believe the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just around the corner. Even though I am no longer a Nordstrom employee, I still love shopping, promoting, and selling their merchandise. So, I’m excited to share that Nordstrom is flying me (along with my Nordstrom6 styling friends) to San Diego next week to preview the upcoming Anniversary Sale merchandise. How exciting is that? So, the next few weeks will be busy ones where I’ll be sharing the best tips for shopping the Anniversary sale and suggesting what to buy! Mark your calendar! The fashion event is July 11-August 6th where you will be able to shop new fashions for fall and replenish your favorite items. Want to shop early? The Early Access date you can start shopping depends on your Nordy Club Rewards Level (Icon, Ambassador, or Influencer), set by an annual purchase amount. If you don’t know your shopping level, log onto the Nordstrom App and look up Nordy Club Rewards. Plus, if you don’t have a Nordstrom Credit Card and want to shop early Access, you can apply for a card here. Here are some key dates to note:

Anniversary Sale preview for everyone. Nordstrom is giving everyone a sneak peek at the sale, and this is a good time to start creating your online wishlist. Reach out if you’d like help with creating your list. Plus I will give you my link to shop the Nordstrom Sale prior to your Early Access shop date. Moving On – Let’s Talk Beauty Products!
I love summer; spending time outside and getting a little sun-kissed tan, it’s the perfect time to refresh our cosmetics and skincare. Yesterday, I did a little shopping at Nordstrom in the cosmetic department for a few items to get me through the summer months. I’m always curious to see what cosmetics others use, so I wanted to share my recent beauty purchases. These are products that I recommend, and I’m excited to bring them along for my upcoming trip to California.
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk 5.2 | Mac Eye Liner Pencil – Teddy | Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips – Glowing Jen | Antica Farmacista – Aperol Spritz
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk – color 5.2 – It’s an award winning liquid foundation with a silky texture and medium coverage. I was introduced to this brand when I first starting working at Nordstrom years ago and it’s a personal favorite, plus has received a five star rating.
Mac Eye Liner Pencil – Teddy – Is an eyeliner pencil you can count on. The beauty experts at Nordstrom mentioned soft looking eye make up is trending and the color Teddy will help achieve it. I’m excited to try it!
Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips – Glowing Jen – I always like to have several lipsticks on hand for summer and am eager to try this one. Have you used it?
Antica Farmacista – Aperol Spritz This diffuser smells refreshing, just like the drink. 🙂 I like to have hostess gifts on hand and I’ll be taking this one to San Diego. I might have to order another one for myself.
Below are other items I recommend and use daily.
Dior Dream Skin Perfector – A splurge item but it works as a primer, evens out skin tone and hydrates the skin.
Bobby Brown Long Wear Eyeshadow Stick – I apply this by itself and as a base with the Chanel eyeshadow.
CHANEL LES 4 OMBRES Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow – I love everything about this eyeshadow. The rich colors pretty and stay on for hours.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil – Easy to use and a reliable product with great reviews.
NARS Blush – This is a reliable product and works well every time I use it. I also like the creamy texture and color of the Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks too.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder – I carry this compact in my cosmetic bag and purse and love how it removes the shine and makes my face look flawless.
The Diorshow Maximizer 3D Lash Primer Serum – I started using the Dior primer when I took my lash extensions off a few years ago, and now I can’t go a day without it. I love how it creates a fuller lash base to apply my mascara.
Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Instant Volumizing Mascara – It’s time to replace my mascara and I’ve used this one before and liked it. For full and dramatic lashes try Too Faced Better Than Sex Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer – I tried a sample of this product and now enjoy using it. It’s easy to apply and gives great results.
ILIA Nightlite Bronzing Powder – I use this bronzer whenever I want an additional sun-kissed look.
Gucci Flora – This fragrance is one of my go-to scents for summer. I love using it and even keep it on my desk while I work to enjoy the summery smell all day.
I love my skincare, and it’s a part of my daily routine. I’ve been using the Colleen Rothschild skincare line for over a year, and I want to say I like my results! I always apply sunscreen before heading out the door. There are two brands I like and recommend, Cerave and Supergoop. I started using Cerave during one of my vacations and have continued the routine. It keeps my skin well-hydrated, prevents breakouts, and provides sunscreen benefits. Another sunscreen I like is Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen. Apply it after your moisturizer. Both are easy-to-use and reliable products. Do you have a favorite sunscreen?

What a funny coincidence! Last week, L’AVANT Collection contacted me and asked if I wanted to try their plant-based products. Before recommending anything to you, I always like to do my research. So, it turns out L’AVANT is a local Seattle company, and one of the owners is actually a previous client of mine from way back! What a small world.
Here’s my review. I like the fresh linen scent of the plant-based wash and hand lotion, and the sophisticated packaging adds a chic appearance. Plus, displaying the pair on the acrylic tray adds an elegant touch to a countertop, adding to the elegance of the room.
