With spring just around the corner, it’s time to refresh your wardrobe with dresses for the upcoming season. I like finding classic dresses, and below, I am sharing four versatile styles to add to your closet that you’ll wear often.

1. Tiered Dresses
I love wearing mid length tiered dresses. The black dress (above) from Rails is a pretty choice for a spring event. I’m already picturing myself packing it on my upcoming vacation. Also, it’s nice to have spring accessories to complete an outfit. The bucket hat and rattan handbag are the perfect finishing touches.
This one from Paige is so pretty – it has tie shoulders and gathers below the bust for a bit of structure, and the fun slit in the front adds a playful touch. Plus, it’s bra-friendly, which is always a bonus! The cardigan is from J.Crew and has become a go-to layering piece lately. I’ve been surprised by how often I’ve reached for it!

Here are some other tiered dress options that caught my eye!
2. White Dresses
White dresses are a springtime staple. Below, I’m wearing the maxi shirt dress, Rory from Frank & Eileen. It’s a casual dress to wear from spring through summer. The Mary style is also available if you’re looking for something a bit shorter.

3. Shirt Dresses
Shirt dresses are timeless classics to wear frequently. The Mary, pictured below, is a style I often wear during the spring and summer months, and I even pack it for vacations to use as a cover-up by the pool. It’s a style you will wear often.

Here are some other shirt dress styles I like and want to try.
4. Slip Dresses
A slip dress is a versatile piece to add to your wardrobe. I love how you can easily dress it up with a sweater, blazer, or lady jacket, or keep it casual by layering it over a t-shirt and add a jean jacket. The style below by Vince (this is an older photo and print), is now available in 3 colors. Another favorite is the Vince satin slip dress. I suggest wearing the Wacoal red carpet bra, and if you like to wear Spanx, try this style here. Use my code SANDYKXSPANX to get 10% off.
Here are some other slip dresses to consider.
If you’re looking for a layer to wear over a slip dress, here are some versatile options that I like, which can also be worn with jeans, dresses, and trousers.

Loved the spring soft flowy navy & white soft flow dress that you showed for work, vacation, evening or French changes. Where did you buy?
