After Labor Day, I begin to think about transitioning my wardrobe from Summer to Fall. We’re still enjoying pleasant weather in the Pacific Northwest, but the cooler weather is starting to creep in. I’m okay with that; I love the fall season, wearing sweaters and warm fall colors too. How about you? This week, a few new fall items caught my eye. Let’s take a look.

Casual New Arrivals
I was delighted to see new Rails merchandise in the store. First, I’m excited about the v-neck cardigan with the trending patchwork design. This neutral color cardigan is a modern style that you can wear alone or over a t-shirt. Second, the shacket is still trending and a nice transitional “3rd” piece to wear with denim or over a casual dress. I like the tonal colors, plus this one is the softest shacket I’ve tried on. Finally, the dark wash Frame Le One flare denim is vintage-inspired, has stretch, and is slim from hip to knee, and flares at the ankle.
Stylist tip -Don’t forget your lipstick when you walk out the front door, even if wearing a mask. Lipstick completes your look and is something special, just for you.

An effortless fall outfit combines a classic blouse, boots, denim, and a chic jacket. The Moncler sweater jacket is a splurge item, but it’s a “forever” jacket you will wear for years and never edit from your wardrobe. Another option is the Zella quilted long-line jacket shown here.

Jewelry Inspiration From Pinterest
Stylist tip – Don’t forget to wear your jewelry. It’s an easy way to complete your look. Vintage-inspired coin jewelry is trending and creates a statement when worn with other stacked necklaces. Also, gold jewelry has been trending, but silver jewelry is making a comeback!
