Spring Fashion Q&A: Your Top Style Questions Answered! Part 1

I always love receiving styling questions, and today I’m focusing on a couple of requests. The first is to compare higher-price items to similar lower-priced items. So, below is a save or splurge style board featuring items for spring using some things I showed last week on Instagram Live. There’s something for everyone, and I hope you’ll find inspiration for your spring wardrobe.

Style Board 1 – Save vs Splurge

Are you a fan of tote bags like me? They are practical, allowing you to carry all your essentials like a water bottle, walking shoes, snacks, and even a laptop (my kind of bag)! Below is the Naghedi tote – it’s not only chic but is made of durable neoprene fabric, it comes in various colors and patterns, and is moderately priced. If you prefer a smaller crossbody, that style is available too.
And if you’re in the market for a splurge item, the Chloe tote is a classic designer bag worth considering. It is an investment, but think of it as cost per wear – I’ve owned mine for a year, and it’s been a workhorse.
Overall, larger bags are trending and it’s nice to carry one that will hold all your essential items. But, whatever handbag you choose, make sure it’s something you love and makes you feel great.

A denim jacket is an essential item for spring and the perfect layering piece for dresses and tops. Check out the latest style by L’agence; it’s dressy and features trendy cargo pockets. I also like the KUT denim jacket, and it’s received many positive reviews. These jackets are perfect to layer over new spring dresses and tops! Both of the sandals below are a neutral color that will go with many spring looks plus they are comfortable.

Style Board 2 – How To Wear Grey Denim

Last week on the blog, I recommended getting a pair of grey denim. Following that, I received a request to share some ideas for styling them. So, today I want to give you some outfit ideas for your grey denim to create chic and versatile looks!

Grey and camel are two colors that complement each other when creating effortless and chic outfits. The grey Mother Insider jeans are a favorite style to dress up or down and look nice with the Veronica Beard top. The sleeve detail adds a feminine touch to the outfit, making it perfect for various occasions.

Next is the Juliette Cardigan by J.Crew, a timeless piece you can wear in multiple seasons. You might love it so much that you’ll want it in two colors. Lastly, I’ve also included a Tory Burch tote bag that is versatile enough to wear with many outfits.

Style Board 3 – How To Wear Grey Denim

I want to share a few more tips for styling grey jeans. First, pairing a black top, blazer, or sweater with grey jeans is a great way to create a classic and stylish look. Plus, add a pop of color by wearing a colorful crossbody bagAlso, layer a black blazer over a white or camel color top, creating a chic look.

If you’re looking for a more casual outfit, I recommend wearing a striped top with grey jeans and a utility jacket. It’s a perfect look for the spring season.

As for shoes, the Dolce Vita sneakers are a great option to consider, as they add a trendy touch to your outfit.

Lastly, I’ve heard great things about these AG Mari jeans if you want to have another grey jean option to try. AG is known for its great fit, but keep in mind that they are slim based on reviews, so that’s something to consider when ordering.

I hope these suggestions are helpful!

Thank you for reading. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or feedback.

xx Sandy
