It’s June, and I’m swapping out my heavier layers for lighter ones. If you have the right basics, you can walk into your closet and always have outfits to wear. Here’s your summer basics list—the pieces I think every woman should have in their summer wardrobe.

White Tees
We all need white tops. I reach for mine all the time, and I have a few different styles. Honestly, this is one thing worth replacing every year because we wear them so much. Here are three styles I think you should have:
The Classic Fit — wear it daily, tuck it in, throw it on. It always looks good.
The Relaxed Fit — a little boxy, a little shorter, super modern. So cute with tie-front pants and jeans. 
The Tank — this one goes under everything. Cardigans, button-ups, coats, blazers. Grab it in a few colors.
White Jeans
White jeans are a summer classic. A simple tee, a cute sandal, and you’re done. My favorites right now are the Mother Lemon Twist and the Paige Anessa. Both fit so well and just look great. I also love the Madewell Vintage Wide-Leg.
Tie -Front Pants
I love this trend. The loose, tie front pants are everything right now and so easy to wear. Quince has a great linen style in so many colors — just add a simple top, and you have an outfit. I also love the viral Aritzia Lodge Pant. I have the Lodge pants in crepe (which doesn’t wrinkle) and in a linen blend (barely wrinkles). They look so good, I dress mine up with the sandals, mules, or sneakers. I also like to wear them when I travel. The Splendid Angie is another cute one. And I really want to try the new Paige Ingrid tie front pants.
Easy Summer Dresses
Everyone needs an easy summer dress. One you can take on vacation or just wear around town. I love the Quince linen dress for exactly that. Throw a cardigan around your shoulders, and you are set.
Shoes
Here’s a summer shoe that’s a great alternative to sandals and sneakers — the Sam Edelman Tullie woven mule. It’s comfortable and looks great with pants and dresses. The Vince and Steve Madden flip-flops are trending right now and are easy to wear. And slingbacks — so good because you can wear them multiple seasons.

Raffia Bags
I love carrying a raffia bag in the summer. My favorite right now is the Sezane Justine tote. It has a liner inside to hold all your essentials and comes in other colors and designs too. I also just found this cute bag from BTB that has designer vibes. Carry it daily or into the evening. Both are so good.
