Last Saturday, the Nordstrom 6 and I posted our favorite summer trends on Instagram. You can watch my video here.
1. Square Toe Slides
The first summer trend I love is the slide. The square toe detail offers a modern look that will complete any outfit. Whether you work from home or are running errands, there is a version of this sandal for you. This Bottega Veneta slide is modern and very chic. Below are some other favorites.

2. Tiered Dresses with Statement Sleeves
When I picked this trend, I knew I wanted to snag a knee-length tiered dress that didn’t break the bank. This little Topshop number was exactly what I was looking for. I love this trend for summer because it can be dressed up or down, it’s flattering on a variety of figures and it’s extremely comfortable. Plus, it’s easy to pick a version of this dress that matches your personal style. I obviously love an all-black look, but this trend comes in every color and pattern you could want! The Topshop dress I picked is airy, flowy, and will be a great dress to have in my summer wardrobe. Although I picked black, it’s also available in coral and white as well.
V-neck and tie closure showcases my layered jewelry.

Ulla Johnson makes beautiful feminine dresses. This one can be dressed up with heels or dress down with a flat slide or sneakers. I feel carefree and ready for the day!

3. Straw and Bucket Bags
No other accessory makes me feel more ready for summer than a rattan handbag. Wear to the market or the beach, I always feel like a part of me is on vacation with a rattan bag in hand! I have included some personal favorites below.
Rattan Crossbody
Another bag I love for summer is a bucket bag. Bucket bags are timeless and can be worn in any season. This architectural bag by Staud is roomy, has a tie closure, and a comfortable crossbody strap to be hands-free.
