Creating outfits is one of my favorite ways to express my creativity. Yesterday, while my daughter and I were organizing my granddaughter’s closet, I couldn’t resist styling and creating many adorable outfits for her. It’s never too early to start styling and having fun with fashion. Ha!

As much as I love getting creative and putting outfits together, I know that sometimes we all need some go-to outfit combinations that can be put together quickly and always look great. So, I’m sharing two fail-proof ways to create outfits you can rely on which will work every single time. And it will make getting dressed easy and stress-free.

1. Matching Jacket And Top Color

If you’re looking for an outfit combination that always looks great, you can’t go wrong with matching your jacket and top colors. It’s as easy as it sounds! If you have a variety of solid-colored pieces in your wardrobe, you’ll always have the items on hand to create a stylish outfit. With a matching top and jacket or pieces in similar tones, you can easily pair them with your favorite trousers or jeans to create a chic and effortless look.

2. Column Of Color

Another easy way to create a stylish outfit that works every time is to wear a column of color under a jacket. You can go for the same color or similar tones; either way, it’s a guaranteed chic look. Try wearing the trendy “Canadian tuxedo” by wearing a denim shirt with denim pants or a skirt. Then layer a jacket over the top for a fun and casual outfit. You can also complete the look with a pretty blouse and matching pants with a favorite jacket.

My Latest (favorite) Shopping Find

Naghedi Medium St. Barthes

I’m excited to share my new obsession with you – the St. Barths Tote by Naghedi! I’ve been eyeing this bag for over a year and finally purchased it, and I’m glad I did! It’s made of neoprene, which is flexible, easy to spot clean, and perfectly fits all my essentials like my IPad Pro, water bottle, and notebook. I love the added pouch, too – it’s just the right size for a wallet like this or this, or keys, lipstick like here and here, and hand creamBonus: it doubles as a clutch for when I go out in the evening. And have you seen the St. Barths mini bag in poppy? It’s the perfect accessory for a fun spring and summer dress like this or this.

I few things that caught my attention this week.

Are you a shoe lover? One of my favorite special occasion shoes is the Gucci Victoria Horsebit sandal – it’s pretty and comfortable. I wore it to an evening event and danced the night away! Another style is the Loeffler Randall Emilia Knot slide. It has a 2″ heel, but for the same style but a higher heel try this one or this flat. A few dresses to go with the dresses are here, here and here.  If you prefer flats, there are some adorable metallic flats available. Check out these options here and here – they’re just as stylish as heels and can be worn with anything from casual to dressy outfits.

Has spring arrived? The sun is shining, and I just applied  Gucci Flora perfume to remind me spring is right around the corner! I adore the fragrance’s combination of white gardenia, jasmine, and pear scents. It’s perfect for anyone who loves a fresh, floral fragrance.

A few weeks ago, I refreshed some of my cosmetics from NordstromFirst, I replaced my eyebrow shaper with the Bobby Brown Brow Shaper Eye Gel. I forgot how well this product works (I ran out awhile ago). It’s like mascara but for your brows. So if you need a brow product, give this one a try. I also fill in with the Anastasia Brow pencil.

I also replaced my Chanel Les Ombres eyeshadow palette, color 328, blurry Mauve, which is well worth the splurge. The colors are long-lasting and versatile; I love using them. The previous Chanel Les Ombres I owned lasted forever! I highly recommend this product if you want a high-quality eyeshadow palette.

Lastly, I swapped out my foundation for the Armani Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Foundation in color 4.5. It’s oil-free, goes on so smoothly, and has light coverage. I like this foundation, and I think you will too! So if you’re in the market for a new foundation, check this out. I hope this little cosmetic haul has been helpful to you. Let me know if you try any of these products and how you like them!
