Love French-Inspired Clothing? Here Are 6 Items You’ll Adore

If you’re anything like me, you adore that effortlessly chic, French-inspired vibe that says, “put together!” Then, you will be excited about the September N6 Drop. What is the N6 Drop? Each month, my N6 styling friends and I select six standout items from different categories; these are pieces to style together to make outfits and blend in with other things you already own. This drop is a favorite of mine since they are easy-to-wear pieces, versatile, and so chic. I’ve also added a few extra items from each category that caught my eye and that I think you will like.

The September N6 Drop

1. Rails Geneva Stripe Wool Blend Cardigan

Get ready to fall in love with the Rails cardigan. It features the French stripe pattern in easy-to-match neutral tones to prepare you for fall. I wear it all by itself and layer it over a tank. And if you want to feel extra stylish, drape a scarf over your shoulders for an added touch. If you missed it, watch my IG Live, where I’m wearing the Rails sweater. Plus, I have some other high-low stripe sweaters on my radar for fall that I think you might like.

2. Rag & Bone Dagger Scarf

Scarves are a perfect finishing touch you can layer over a blouse, cozy sweater, or stylish trench coat. Now, the scarf we had in the N6 drop? It was so popular it’s no longer available, but I have other scarves that’ll give you that same effortless look and prepare you for fall. These are on the larger side, so you can wear them and look chic without trying. 🙂 I’ve included a mix of high-end and budget-friendly options; there’s a scarf for everyone.

3. Sam Edelman Double Breasted Mac Raincoat

A trench coat is an essential item that every wardrobe needs. It’s a coat you can wear multiple seasons and always look put together. Plus, layering a scarf is the secret to completing your look. I’ve picked coat options from different price ranges that are chic and perfect for fall. You might want to consider trying something new – how about a classic trench in a fresh green shade perfect for fall? It’s on my wishlist, too!

4. AG Farrah High Waist Crop Bootcut Jeans

The AG crop bootcut jean has become a favorite, and if you’re hunting for that perfect everyday denim, this is a great style to try. The jeans are true to size and gracefully hug your bum and thighs – pretty much everything we look for in a great pair of jeans. I love denim, so I’m sharing a handful of other styles that fit well, are favorites, and I think you will like.

5. Sam Edelman Felicia Luxe Flat

With ballet flats being a hot trend, now is the perfect time to highlight a few of my favorite styles. The Sam Edelman pair pictured is so cute; I’ve been wearing them for the past week, and they are comfortable. The fit is true to size, and there are many colors to choose from. I always like to show options; I love and have tried some other styles, like Chloe and Chanel. It’s been a while since many of us have worn ballet flats, so it’s nice to wear them again.

6. Madewell The Sydney Cutout Leather Tote

I have a soft spot for tote bags. I always have a lot of things to carry, including my laptop, snacks, water, and sometimes extra shoes like ballet flats. The Madewell N6 Drop tote is designer-inspired, surprisingly lightweight, and has space for your laptop or other essential items. Plus, it’s chic and makes for a stylish fall wardrobe addition. Of course, I like to shop and share other options, so here are a few more totes, including high-low bags.

  1. Hi Sandy,
I have recently found your blog but I am not on Instagram. I am 5’3.5″ tall so I appreciate that you are near to my height. I am typically a size 6 or 8 and small to medium depending on how items run. I am wondering if you ordered the Ann Taylor tan/camel double-breasted blazer in misses or petite? Thank you!

    • Hi Barb, Welcome to Stylishsandy! I bought a petite 0. I usually wear regular sizes because I like jackets to be a little longer on me, but the petite length is perfect. The jacket is tts. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
