Three Fall Trends That Caught My Eye!

It might be mid-August, but I’m already looking forward to Fall fashion. The trend reports are out, and I’ve researched what we will be wearing this Fall. Here are three trends that caught my eye.

Denim

We love our skinny jeans but look for roomier styles of denim to add to your wardrobe this season. Bootcut, flares, boyfriend, and straight denim are all styles that are trending. Also, look for darker, clean shades to wear day to evening.

Distressed denim should be on your radar too. This ageless denim adds a casual, vintage-inspired look and creates a relaxed, effortless vibe to your outfit.

Vests

This preppy classic emerged last year but now is mainstream and can be seen throughout Nordstrom and social media. It’s a new option to wear alone or as a layering piece instead of a traditional sweater. Pre-fall wear a vest over your favorite t-shirt or layer it over a blouse or second skin turtleneck when the temperature drops.

Saturated Core Classics

Trending this season are bright saturated colors. I give an example on my Instagram here. Bright colors are refreshing and always fun to add to any wardrobe. However, if you prefer neutral tones, below are the Pantone core classic colors for Fall. They are calm tones and are easy to mix and match with other neutral pieces in your wardrobe.
